Nobody knows more about the history of New Rochelle than Barbara Davis: She is the Co-Director of the Westchester County Historical Society and the City Historian of New Rochelle. She was for many years the Community Relations Coordinator for the New Rochelle Public Library, and has published books and articles on local history. We’ll talk to Barbara about New Rochelle’s connection to the arts: Why did so many of America’s best-known artists make the Queen City their home? And we’ll ask her to share some of the stories and scandals about these colorful people – the kind of tales that locals know best.
