A BID Family Day Event: Summer Reading Kick-off Party with Arm-of-the-Sea Puppet Theater

Saturday, June 26, from 1:00 pm



Experience whimsical kinetic sculptures, richly painted paper mache masks and puppet figures that range in size from 12 inches to the 16 foot tall Tree of Life, when the Arm-of-the-Sea troupe performs the Turtle Island Medicine Show in Library Green (or library theater, if rain.) Kids ages 4 years & up can decorate a canvas book bag, make a rain stick, create a water critter mask, and get into sand art. Most important: they can also sign up for the 2010 Summer Reading Game, “Make a Splash @ Your Library”, and earn points towards prizes.
